Dr. David Craig

Dentist (Napanee and Kingston)

Dr. David Craig graduated from the University of Dalhousie 1992 where he obtained his degree in dentistry. He relocated to the Kingston area in 1997 where he continued to practice dentistry and ran the clinic at RMC Kingston.  In 1999, Dr. Craig took over the practice of Dr. John Brisley when he retired from his Napanee clinic and also for Dr. John Turner who also retired in 2002 (Kingston). Since then, Dr. Craig has also inherited the patients of Dr. Tom Mc Donough and Dr. Lapeer as they ended their career in dentistry. Dr. Craig also preforms surgery in Ottawa involving wisdom teeth removal and implant placement.

Dr. Craig has taken continuing education and additional training in a variety of dental services such as Surgical restoration, IV sedation and Advanced Nitrous Oxide, Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, Medical Emergencies, Nitrous Oxide and Oral Sedation, Operative Dentistry as well as Oral Surgery. He provides all aspects of dentistry and able to provide all your basic and comprehensive care.  Dr. Craig enjoys the small town feel that Kingston and Napanee have to offer. Aside from dentistry, Dr. Craig enjoys spending time with his wife, Krista, and his two beautiful children Portia and Pierce. He enjoys golf, boating, skiing and traveling.

Dr. Ajmeet Virk

Dr. Ajmeet Virk is dedicated to serving her patients and her community through practice of state-of-the-art dental care. Dr. Virk received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Western University and moved to Kingston where she has practiced ever since her graduation. Dr. Virk strives to make her patients feel comfortable, respected, and well cared for. She prioritizes patient education and wishes to help her patients achieve a smile that they are proud of.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Prabhjot Kaur

Dr. Prabhjot Kaur (General Dentist) was born and raised in New Dehli, India. She graduated from University of Toronto (UFT), Faculty of Dentistry with a DDS degree and furthermore got the license from RCDSO on June 3, 2011 and also holds a B.D.S. degree from J.S.S. Dental College (Mysore University), India (1999). She worked as a licensed Dentist for about 20 years in Asia (India), Middle East (Kuwait) and Canada (Ontario, British Columbia). She has not only worked in esteemed government hospitals but also private clinics. Dr. Kaur thinks about the nature of work as well as the ease level of her patients. She generally aspires to improve the situation, all through her work environment.

She enjoys singing, playing the keyboard and listening to music. She is a fan of all the sciences too! She likes to experiment with different cuisines. Dr. Kaur takes full responsibility for the different aspects of the patient’s experience because different dimensions of care determine the overall satisfaction. These include the care the clinic provides, the interaction between the dentist and the patient, satisfaction with the facilities, and the likeliness to return and recommend.

Dr. Mahawish Zaidi

Dr. Zaidi is a foreign-trained dentist. She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry University of Toronto in 2012. She has a keen interest in surgery and loves treating kids. She loves her job as a health professional and is happy to return to the beautiful city of Kingston which she is now proud to call home and is extremely honored to get a chance to work again with the most prestigious, amazing, and caring team at Dr. David Craig &associates.

When she’s not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her 4-year-old son Raza Zaidi, traveling, volunteering, researching, and teaching. She looks forward to meeting with you at Dr. David Craig and associates.

Office Coordinator – Kingston and Napanee

I attended Maxwell College in 2000 for Dental Assisting and then continued on with my Level II certification at Algonquin College. I didn’t always know that I would love the dental industry until I saw the impact you can make in someone's life. No one should be self-conscious about smiling.

My second love is fitness, and that’s how I keep my life well-balanced.  I started my career as a dental assistant at Dr. Craig’s in 2002, and my career quickly changed and I had the opportunity to be in multiple positions within the practice since then. Office Management has been my position for almost 20 years now and I love the variety of work and dealing with such a great group of people. 

Lois Swenson

Dental Assistant - Napanee and Kingston

I attended Cambrian college in Sudbury and have been in the dental field for 20 years, 12 of those being with Dr. Craig and Associates. I am married to my best friend and have 2 children, with 4 amazing grandsons. We enjoy going out on our ATV and cooking. I have a love for quilts and own a great collection, as well as recently learning how to quilt myself. I enjoy staying fit through working out and running.  While working in the Napanee and Kingston office, I've met some incredible people and take great pride to be part of Dr. Craig's Team.

Dental Assistant – Napanee and Kingston 

I have been a Certified Dental Assistant Level II for sixteen years. I attended and graduated from the Kingston Learning Centre. I enjoy continuous education in my related field.

In my personal time, I enjoy my family time with my husband and two young children. We enjoy playing hockey and soccer, and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Karen Sharpe

Dental Assistant - Napanee and Kingston

My name is Karen Sharpe. I graduated from the Ontario Business College in 1999 as a Dental Assistant and began working soon thereafter. I later returned to Durham College to upgrade my education to the National Level - 2 as an Assistant and have maintained my membership with the Ontario Dental Assistants Association. I have been working full time as a Dental Assistant for 15 years. I have worked with Dr. Craig for 12 and a half of those years.

I have 2 grown daughters, 1 grand-daughter, 2 step daughters, and 2 step grand-children that bring lots of smiles my way. I enjoy playing flute & piano, singing, scrapbooking, biking and camping.
