Prior to placing your crown, the tooth will be numbed with an anesthetic. An impression will then be made to ensure the crown is properly fitted. The dentist will then prepare your tooth for the crown. Depending on the crown you’ll be receiving, you may have to come in for a second appointment to have it placed.
